You use Cluster Administrator to create the cluster, join nodes to the cluster, manage cluster objects, establish groups, initiate failover, handle maintenance, and monitor cluster activity through a convenient graphical interface. Developers providing their own resource types can write an extension that enables Cluster Administrator to manage their custom types.
